SolidWorks World 2014 - giorno 1 - Design in the Age of Experience

Voglio iniziare questo post con il titolo utilizzato dal Wall Street Journal. Non è da tutti comparire su questo prestigioso quotidiano internazionale! Il titolo è molto evocativo di ciò che è stato mostrato oggi: il protagonista della prima giornata è stato infatti SolidWorks Mechanical Conceptual, prima applicazione sulla piattaforma 3D Experience che verrà rilasciata all'inizio di Aprile.
Sintetizzo ciò che è stato mostrato nella sessione di oggi:
- 5600 partecipanti...nuovo record!
- 2.300.000 di utenti che utilizzano SolidWorks

- 27.000 scuole in 80 paesi cui viene insegnato l'utilizzo di SolidWorks

- Nuovo prodotto: SolidWorks Inspection. Disponibile da questa primavera (post dal blog istituzionale della Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corp)

- Lancio ufficiale di SolidWorks Mechanical Conceptual: sarà disponibile dal 2 Aprile

SolidWorks World 2014 - day 1 - Design in the Age of Experience 

I want to start this post with the title used by the Wall Street Journal. Appearing on such prestigious international newspaper is something out of ordinary! The title is very evocative of what was shown today: the protagonist of the first day was in fact SolidWorks Mechanical Conceptual, the first application on the 3D Experience platform that will be released in early April.
I'll summarize what has been shown in today's session:
- 5600 participants ... new record!
- 2,300,000 users who use SolidWorks

- 27.000 schools in 80 countries teach how to use SolidWorks

- New product: SolidWorks Inspection. Available early this spring (Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corp offical post)

- SolidWorks Mechanical Conceptual official launch: it will be available from April 2nd
